Farmer fined for digging up ancient 'burial cairn'

The farmer undoubtedly failed to find the notice of the ancient monument, displayed as it was in the basement of the local council offices, in a disused toilet, with no light bulb and behind a large sign advising him to "Beware of the tiger".
