I thought this note interesting for those of us who like to know who was doing what in early medieval Scotland.  It suggests a resurgence of Pictish power that I found persuasive.

Yes once they adopted Christianity they seem to have been on a roll.

Shame there are no illustrations.  Had there been it would be very useful Pictorial history...

Their history is well depicted in the text though. In fact, thinking about it, I don't really see a reason for having pict a bone with the article at all...
