I went to Lago Trasimeno a few years ago but missed that there was a museum. It looks pretty small but 5 euros isn't too bad if you happen to be nearby.

I notice they don't go to the various places in the south like Cannae. I did think about hiring a car in Naples and going to Cannae but it is quite a schlep over to the other side of the Peninsula. Mind you, I didn't even go to Benevento (for Pyrrhus and Charles of Anjou) and that's only 30 miles from Naples. I think the battlefields have probably been built on though.
