I can understand why no people but there should be barges on the Tiber - the river was a main import route up from the coast.

Quite impressive. The sheer number of statues in high positions on buildings is very striking.

I saw the exhibition of these treasures when it came though Hong Kong in 2019 and bought the catalogue.  It was one of the most breathtaking and eye opening exhibitions I have ever seen and really fired up my son's interest in Central Asian history.
