Title: Norfolk and Suffolk top the UK’s treasure charts

well I never knew that.....doesnt say if the reason is because there are more detectorists in thoses areas or if there are more things to find.....or a bit of both

The BBC coverage also mentioned the high proportion of cultivated land in East Anglia as a factor.

more arable and therefore accessible farmland means more finds then I suppose
