An 18 minute film on the daily grind of a field archaeologist in Egypt... particularly interesting are the before and after shots of the restoration of the wall murals in the tomb of Neferhotep, chief scribe of Amun in the 18th dynasty (TT49). They are doing some amazing things with lasers. If you stop it at the 6:22 there is an excellent shot of the rigging of an Egyptian ship circa 1320 BC (attached) - not much new I think except the crew aloft in the rigging. At the 17:54 point the ship reappears in company with two others. Some of the clothing may be of interest as well (11:10 for some interesting blue and gold colored cloth).
