For this year's Pacificon I offered the battle of Trebia. The full battle report and more photos can be found on my blog at http://18clovehamhock.blogspot.com/2017/09/the-battle-of-trebia-at-pacificon-2017_10.html (http://18clovehamhock.blogspot.com/2017/09/the-battle-of-trebia-at-pacificon-2017_10.html)

Carthage on left, Rome on right.
That is a heap load of figures! Thanks for the report, shame the Carthaginians couldnt live up to their historical counterparts!
Proper use of the elephants and cavalry superiority would have resulted in the Romans being encircled. I ran a half size test at the club previously and the Romans were defeated, though some were able to cut their way through the infantry center.
Very impressive. It does give context to the people who casually flip an element representing a legion ...

couldnt agree more.....I wish I had the time and the figures and the space to do something like this once in a while
90+ bases per side. That's what a wargame really should be.
