A quick glance suggests that it is a rehash of what he has published before and not anything new.
Of course it is free so saves you the cost of his books 8)
Yep, an awful lot of this seems to be unreferenced or partially referenced. I know where some of it comes from, Denkard, Tafazzoli and so on, the articulation of wings, yes, it's covered in Inostrancev as a Sasanian survival into Muslim practice. Further detail I would love to know the sources.
