WRG 3rd Edition Hannibal's army?
In historical terms, this is a fairly recent cheese.
"Egyptian tomb murals of 2000 BC show butter and cheese being made, and other murals which show milk being stored in skin bags suspended from poles demonstrate a knowledge of dairy husbandry at that time." - from http://www.gol27.com/HistoryCheese.html (http://www.gol27.com/HistoryCheese.html)
However Ptahmes served for quite a long time in the 19th Dynasty, and his cheese would have had plenty of opportunity to mature. Upon his demise, there was probably only one place it could go without making itself seriously noticeable - in his tomb. ;)
