I often look at archaeology.org and find it very readable and accessible and they have put together a "top ten" list of their take on the most important archaeological discoveries of 2014. See what you think

or somewhat sad! ::) There are times when I find the internet truly useful and inspiring for finding out info....especially info you werent necessarily looking for in the first instance :)
