Given that his son (that Harald who had a wireless standard named after him) was the first Christian king of Denmark, it seem very easy to me to imagine reasons why he might have been reburied in a church.

I have to admit when the article asked where was King Gorm, my first thought was to ask if there was a cark park nearby.  ;)
