Interesting. I am sure there could be more to it, but that alone is quite a leap of the imagination.

Popular Archaeology is similarly unable to pin it down, conjecturing that it could be anything from Djehuty's capture of the city under Thutmose III to an incursion of 'Philistines' in the reign of Ramses III.
