Thanks Dave that is an important find,  A good mile or more further from the Tyne than the rest of the Wall running immediately West out of Newcastle.  I wonder what else is buried nearby?

It seems I'm wrong other reports put it near the West Road that's where I'd have expected it to be.  The Wall pretty much runs along there.
