Last weekend I played two fun solo games from the Corinthian War with Nemea and Coronea with Command & Colors Ancients:

Spartans easily won Nemea, Coronea was a bit closer.
great looking figures and nice to see some C+C reports
Nice work, Mike. Regarding the remote play discussion you had in the comments section, VASSAL would work for you. If you download the vassal engine and then the CCA module and expansions, you can play opponents live over the net in real time or play by email.

Thanks Dave, I really enjoy the CCA games, playing with figures makes it look good as well.
Thanks Aaron, for the VASSAL recommendation, I had a quick look at the site. I'll download it and try it out, I hope my old iMac can handle it!
I think the photographs of real figures fighting it out makes a battle report more enjoyable than text.
Might be worth taking all the photos from the same viewpoint so the battle is easier to follow.
I always like photos on battle reports where possible
Thanks gents, with the board divided in to three sectors, the action can be a bit all or nothing, depending on the card options in your hand, so I usually try to get photos from different viewpoints.
