Title: medieval warhorse website
Post by: Erpingham on May 28, 2020, 02:11:03 PM
Karawansary bulletin flagged up this (http://medievalwarhorse.exeter.ac.uk/) interesting website about research on medieval warhorses.  More questions than answers at this stage but interesting to see what they are researching and how.

Despite a pause early in the pandemic this project continues.  Not turning up much of interest yet, though this blog entry (http://medievalwarhorse.exeter.ac.uk/2020/08/28/managing-englands-royal-warhorses-in-the-fourteenth-century/) is interesting on the logistics of horse care (and, incidentally, on horse colours).
