Title: Roman period jewellery find near Tintagel
Post by: Imperial Dave on August 19, 2016, 07:53:15 AM
mail on line again....!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-3741439/Who-did-rare-brooch-belong-Roman-jewellery-near-site-linked-King-Arthur.html

however this time the mail on line have outdone themselves. What could have been a nice reporting piece on the discovery of a Roman brooch at St Mabyn has turned into tripe beyond the bare bones of the information to hand! I'll wait until the Guardian brings out a better article to get more info (sigh)!

Homonym corner:
Quotea reasonably "well-healed" Romano-British farmstead settlement.

And I suppose we should be grateful that someone is prepared to look ...

Keep it up, Dave, and remember that mail is the accoutrement of a warrior.  Or at least used to be.
