It's tiny.  I can't see it striking fear into anyone.  It's quite twee really.

Perhaps its a ritual model of the real thing - we know they used models of shields and weapons.

it is a little bit smallish.....maybe Iron Age hobbits used it?

"Miniature trumpet", says one of the experts quoted - so they seem yto think it's  model, perhaps comparable to all those bronze miniature shields.
