Off Civitavecchia; C2-1 BC; full of amphorae.
And in good nick too
Which reminds me. I discovered recently that there is a late 2nd century/early 3rd century Roman ship buried 5 meters below the new Guy's Cancer Centre. I have no idea whether it is entombed there or whether it is possible to view it, but I may ask.
I hadn't heard of that one
Evidently its captain was a pretty poor navigator.
The Roman boat at Guys was left in situ as no funds were available to pay for its excavation and conservation,it was left in a sealed concrete chamber. There was some partial recording prior to re interment.

Thank you. Saves me asking them.
