A short article but interesting although  not sure how many dragons are around for the bowl protect against...

Probably more of them in your part of the world than in the possible birthplace of St George territory, Dave.

The double headed dragon looks like two intertwined snakes when you look at the sketch towards the end of the article.  Neither of the tails join up!  Snakes seem more likely if the bowl is intended to guard against poisoning.  When was anyone last poisoned by a dragon?

That's what I thought to be fair when I saw it. Makes more sense!
