Thanks Dave - I have been to Malmesbury, very quaint and picturesque compared to many places theses days and very proud of Aethelstan and of course the tiger that killed the bar maid.

Yup, a tiger!  Worth visiting Malmsbury just for the gravestone that records the fact - but as Ian says, well worth visiting for other reasons too.  Have had some good beer there!
