I like the idea of scrolling through the internet and "accidentally" finding a lost city.

The guy was on the radio this morning. He read a paper where someone else had found ruins using environmental data so thought he'd give it a twirl and hunted down some data sets. One of them had the city
The other two merely had small towns etc  8)
