This reminds me of Richard's suggestion this morning about summary articles for Slingshot.  I can see something like this working in Slingshot, less for the period specialist, more for those with different interests.  It made me think about something on "Famous Units of the Ancient Period" or some such. 300 Spartans, Persian Immortals, Alexander's companions.  Legend and Reality.

Actually, just thought about that suggestion Anthony and it's genius

There are a plethora of units you could pick. Do a short write up and maybe how they play out in your favourite ruleset etc....
