Title: Pre-historic migrations to India; DNA evidence
Post by: Tim on January 03, 2019, 07:08:41 PM
I am aware that there are political overtones attempting to silence the science here so I would ask people to consider very carefully how they respond. The views in the article are neither mine nor those of the society though the facts behind the science are of interest to the society membership.

To me, the perhaps the most interesting thing is the article is the late Neolithic immigration from the Zagros - it'd fit well with the Elamo-Dravidian idea, i.e., the idea, suggested on linguistic grounds, that the Elamite language was a distant relative of the Dravidian languages of (mostly) southern India.
