This article details the find of a bronze arrowhead embedded in the spine of a Scythian "elite" warrior circa 7-6th century BC.  He was 25-45 years old and survived the wound.

In addition to perhaps being an epic tale of survival, it does indicate how tiny Scythian arrowheads were.

4cm is pretty much average for lighter style of trilobate arrowheads.
