Interesting light on international contacts at the elite level in 7th century, though. She travelled a long way for some reason.

Marriage?  She seems to have been of fairly noble birth or to have married well (if indeed married) given the quality of the grave goods.  I note that they are suggesting she relocated as a young child, but I do not know how much information we really have on whether child betrothals were a thing in the 7th century, and it would also mean that the marriage matching bureau was operating at a significant range.  Otherwise, one can only assume she travelled with her family for some reason.
