I wonder if it parallels that joke about the Greek man who built three bridges, but wasn't called Yanis the bridge builder, and two schools, but wasn't called Yanis the school founder, and a hospital, but wasn't called Yanis the life saviour, but marries one goat, and is known as Yanis the goat ....er.

Fishermen, porpoise... Who knows.

It explains that old howler - 'Mozart was buried in a porpoise grave'.

Near the buried porpoise was found the body of a small man with no hands .... there's a punchline in there somewhere, but I can't put my finger on it.

Looks as if he fell in with the wrong pod.

I am sure there is a sinister Lovecraftian explanation for all this ...

Don't modern Icelanders have a dish that involves burying shark meat for a while to allow it to ferment and be palatable.

The people here obviously though dolphin were close enough to give it the same treatment.

You've got to hand it to him...

Well, the poor guy....got fingered by a mob who gave him a total thumbs down. Talk about a disjointed misfit. 😨

I suspect he was the victim of a local hands off policy.

Or perhaps he was a visitor and the locals didn't quite understand his dialect: "Unhand me, sir."
