Tradition has it that the use of pictures outside an establishment was to give largely illiterate customers an idea of what was on sale, something still maintained by pawnbrokers and pubs.  On that basis, this place appears to have included horsemeat burgers amongst its culinary delights.

Menacing.  For basically advertising art in a bar, the painter had some style.

Oh, the thought of that has quite spoiled my lunch.  It is just too reminiscent of visits to low-end curry houses.
