Later Abbasids vs Later Crusaders with Triumph

Here is a battle report of the first of two Triumph games played at the Durban wargaming club on Saturday. I'll post the second game some time soon.

Shaun tells me that before the games the Crusaders hadn't been out of a display cabinet for 23 years. There's a movie there somewhere....

If that was there first outing in 23 years, then no wonder it took some time to shake the dust off....

Good reports. Like the way you describe what the generals were intending and planning before Fate took control.

Of course it's always possible that I described my plan as being what happened in the game...

Good games. There doesn't  appear to be 'wear' on units that fight and thus tge Abbasids cannot degrade tge Crusaders and are doomed if tge combat stays frontsl.
