I like the bit about "King Harald ordered these kumbls made...". 

Anyone got any ideas about what a kumbl might be?  Apparently, in Zulu it means "in", but that is probably not too helpful.

Wiktionary gives Old Norse kumbl as meaning either a burial monument or a mark or sign.
