A new one on me, too, but I'm puzzled by the suggestion that it may have been the largest medieval battle in England.  Over-egging the pudding I think.

Lots of over-egging.  It only changed English history as much as any battle where rebels failed did. It may be the largest battle in Suffolk but I can think of a quite a few English medieval battles that were larger.

So, up to 5000 of the 3080 strong losing army were killed?

Is this evidence of necromancy?
