Roman in the Gloamin'
« on: July 28, 2013, 06:51:50 AM »
Falkirk is hosting a Big Roman Week with various events from 14th - 22nd September.

Falkirk District Wargames Club is putting on a game as part of the festivities

Short blog entry here http://leadwarriordavek.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/roman-in-gloamin.html

As I get more details I will update

This our third 'Real Public Participation' day this year following a game at the National Museum of Scotland's Viking Exhibition in March and two at the National Museum of Flight's Wartime Experience day in May.  It's really good to see the interest and enthusiasm for miniature wargaming that these events can generate, particularly with (but not restricted to) kids :).

No promises but I will try to do an article on this for slingshot  ::)

Thanks, that looks good. I will try to make it. The postcode (always useful to events) is EH51 0PR.
