28mm EIR figures:
- Foundry (2 ranges at different scales, one by the Perrys and a larger-scale, smaller range one by Steve Saleh)
- Aventine (by the former A&A sculptor)
- Gripping Beast (similar to the Foundry Perrys)
- Warlord (same size as the Foundry Perrys)
- Imago Militis (sculpted by Richard Ansell, compatible with the Foundry Perrys; available from North Star)
- Crusader (Mark Sims, larger scale)
- Old Glory (never seen them, but believe they are larger)
- 1st Corps (don't have them, presumably on the smaller side)
- Black Tree Design (presumably larger)
Later Imperial 28mm
- A&A do mid and later Western Imperial
- as do GB (passable as Justinian period Byzantine)
- Musketeer Miniatures
If you are looking for a cheap route in and want metal miniatures I can recommend Warrior Miniatures 25 mm scale. When stood next to Foundry EiR the Warrior figures do look like a 'little brother' but the Warrior figures a very cheap.
