fantastico! :)
Thanks Nick,
that is a useful link, I think I had found it on my phone a little while ago when discussing with my son but having it here I can save it into my favourites tab. :)
Ian

This is the 28mm DBMM game that was voted Best Game at the Battleday back in the Spring, returning this time with enough players that we can hopefully get through it!
Less than two weeks to go and I am sure we can all feel the excitement mounting.
Please find attached event programme. A few more traders and exhibitors have stepped forward since the original post.
Enjoy!
:) :) :)
What Nick appears to have missed out is that the Society of Ancients stand will also be present at Colours. Please drop by and say hello!
Anyone who wants to help out for an hour or so, please feel free to contact me (Treasurer) or you can turn up on the day.
As an experiment for this show, I would like to set up a register of SoA members who visit the stand. Just so we have some statistics on how many members come and visit us at a show...
See you there!
Richard
Just to forestall any speculation following the recent passing of Her Majesty, Colours 2022 will go ahead as planned on Saturday. We shall pay our respects at a suitable point during the show.
God save the King!
The Society of Ancients stand will be on the 2nd Floor - D02 - which is right opposite the Bring and Buy. Come and visit us.

We're at D07 with the Adrianople game, so not far away.
Adrianople game was massive and magnificent.
Magnesia game next to the SoA stand had a beautiful set of figures - and was manned by an old friend I had not seen for over 25 years!
How was it overall? Looked packed yesterday from the pictures
Show looked well supported....lots of punters, and good games on show. I went for a tournament, but my games taking max time meant I only got a quick look around until about 4:30, by which time there were some traders in clear up mode, as is to be expected after long distances travelled.
Good show 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I really wanted to go but the part time job of taxi driver was fully employed yesterday.....
Quite crowded in the main trade hall for the entire morning. Much less crowded on the upper two floors - except round the bring & buy which was several folks deep for the morning.
If it appeared crowded, that may have been because we had a record number at the show - we estimate close to 1,500. Traders were delighted with the footfall past their stands and the number of wallets being emptied. Brigade Models reported selling out of 1:1000 scale Vietnamese Villages, possibly due to the Vietnam skirmish game run by Devizes club.
Many visitors appreciated the free entry, especially those who were only able to arrive later in the day.
The Society stand did a record amount of business and the Magnesia game was of great interest to many. I should also mention that our illustrious Editor was there showing off his new ACW rules.
We hope to see everyone next year. Anyone who would like to put on a demonstration game, participation game or a competition should let me know.
sounds like a success all round then
