Apart from those in the "Armies of the Middle Ages" Volume II is there anywhere online that will inspire me to paint the above? So far I've made five plain triangular red flags.
Can't find very much, sorry. You could always draw on the Gripping Beast (https://www.grippingbeast.co.uk/RUSSIAN_BANNERS_1_Medieval_Russian_Banners--product--4400.html) or LittleBigMen (https://www.littlebigmenstudios.com/shop/15mm-transfers/15mm-banner-sheets/15mm-russian-banners/) versions for inspiration, though they are a bit grand for levy infantry.

Thanks for looking. I'll just use the plain red ones.
Try to resist the temptation to paint little yellow hand tool shaped objects in the top corner
Martin,
I painted two types of flags for my Post Mongol Russians.
Rectangular for the command and a smaller model with tail.
The levy carry their saint on a vexillum.
The borders are red or blue to denote Moscow or Novgorod.
There are photos at the blog which give an impression.
