Hi, this year I'm blogging my Field of Glory competition games. Its mainly been FoG - Renaissance, but for Burton it was Ancients. The first game was against Phil and Chris of SOA!

Reports like this which (in addition to the good overall narrative and nice pics) mention bits of the rules system in action are handy for those of us who do not have the system and are wondering whether it would be worth the outlay.
Well fought, and my sympathies to your opponents, whose notionally battlewinning troops seem to have combined with a few perverse dice to lose them the battle!
