an article about Carausius penned by our very own President :)
To be exact, an article about a book about Carausius - and it's the book that's by our President.
yes....erm....I stand corrected. My mords got wuddled
Not sure about Carausius racing to the top of the should-be famous Belgians list; for those with British connections, I would rate Adrian Carton de Wiart VC (the most insane officer ever to serve in the British Army, which is saying something), Matilda of Flanders, Philippa of Hainault (who may have helped give us a Belgian Tube station...), Anthony Van Dyke, and Adeliza of Louvain (the only woman Henry I failed to get pregnant, when, by golly, he really, really needed to do so).
I am not saying that the above are famous, but that is because of the historical ignorance of so many people. Bah, humbug.
The book sounds interesting.
El Presidente will be pleased to hear that :)
