Finally got around to chronicling last week's WotR battle based upon Thomas' One Hour Wargames Scenario #4, Take the High Ground.

As Simon mentioned a while back, I wonder why I bother to post here...

A challenge, eh Jon?  As you know, I have a large WotR force of my own and like the period but I suspect others may find battles of this period a bit uncomplicated and, dare I say, not very gripping tactically so don't comment?  Personally, I liked the scenario because it was a plausible WotR tactical situation - advance guard siezes key position and waits for rest of army to come up. I look forward to further developments in your WotR set up - enclosures, fieldworks, artillery, plomps of spears lurking in ambush. Keep going Jon.
