Times of Israel piece on medieval coins and synagogue in Galilee:

Basically, two jugs of coins found associated with a 14/15th century synagogue, with a Roman synagogue beneath it.

The inclusion in the hoard of a Serbian coin shows that silver is silver, no matter from where!
