Later Mycenaean Shields

I'm just painting some Later Mycenaean infantry and was wondering about the inverted pelta or moon shaped shields as depicted on the Warrior Vase from Mycenae. Some of the figures have cast on shields with upright pelta (Cutting Edge Miniatures). Does anyone know of any evidence for this? I have looked at the Salimbeti site but there doesn't seem to be anything there to support this. The Peter Connolly book on Odysseus has an illustration (p.37) of one inverted and one upright shield and later Mycenaean figures on the Foundry site are shown with both inverted and upright shields. Thanks for any helpful information or suggestions.

No, I don't think I do know of any. Given the apparent variety of Late Mycenaean shield-shapes, though, I wouldn't rule it out.
