I will use this thread to note shows and competitions in the UK, advertised as scheduled in 2021 that are cancelled or postponed.

I have two in mind so far but am waiting for the official announcements so I can include the links.

I have just seen an announcement that SALUTE is being postponed.  The new date is 13th November.

Four months later.......

Hammerhead is scheduled for Saturday, 31st July, which means it clashes with UK Games Expo in Birmingham and an ADLG competition in Bournemouth, both of which are 2-day events.
Britcon has again been cancelled, but should run next year.
London Grand Tournament is at the Lee Valley Indoor Athletics Centre on the weekend of 25th/26th September.
SELWG (my local club) hold their own show on 17th October, also at Lee Valley.
SALUTE is still scheduled for 13th November.
Warfare - now at Ascot - is scheduled for 27th/28th November.

Might see if I can get to SELWG now is is on the safe side of the river...

I've just had notification that Hammerhead (scheduled for 31st July) has been cancelled.

That's  a pity...I thought they'd run closer to the moment before they pulled the plug (but maybe finances dictate cutoffs?)

A shame as it sounds like a good show in a good location.

It is becoming a risky business to run a show these days.
I suspect a lot of the coming problems will be venue initiated.

Anyway, shows will be back in full swing November 2021 (or possibly not?) :)

Although many shows have returned to the circuit (Partizan last weekend, SELWG in London this Sunday, SALUTE and Warfare next month), not everything is as it was.  It has just been announced that Crusade 2022, which was scheduled for 29th January in Penarth, has been cancelled.  (Sorry Holly.)

Imperial Dave

aaaaah nuts.....had planned to go to that one as well next year!
