Double Duty with Armati 2nd Edition
« on: June 02, 2021, 10:09:14 AM »
Gents,

Somewhat ahead of "schedule," please stop by and take a look at this split-personality engagement between a force of Galatians and an army commanded by Pyrrhus.

Here is the link:

Looking back on this project, I am tempted to try something similar again, but with different armies and perhaps a larger contest . . .

Thanks for your time.

Cheers,
Chris

Wouldn’t having the helens commanded by Keraunos have given a faster more dramatic game?

Dave and Jim,
Thanks for reading and commenting.  :)

Mark,
Confess that I am not familiar with "Keraunos" so I will have to do some research. I guess an apology is in order for the fictional action not being quite fast or dramatic enough. For what it's worth, such an exercise wherein I split my "personality" might be well worth a revisit, although with different armies.

Thanks again to all for taking a look.

Cheers,
Chris

The headline is summed up in his last words.

Those barbarians are no match for the Ptolemies, we don’t need to wait for the phalanx, let’s just charge now …
