Nothing startling, but might be of passing interest.  The JT does have an archaeology piece most days given the importance of heritage in Jordan and their tourism sector.

This is more than just passing interest, it shows the interconnectedness of the forts and strategic sites in the Nabataean kingdom and how the site has been in continuous use or occupation across a long time frame, to quote:

"Pottery dating from the Early Bronze Age, Edomite, Nabataean, Roman and Byzantine periods, were found at the site. Abu Raa hosted a smaller Roman camp and the site points to a use in Nabataean, Roman and Byzantine periods."

And it appears much of the building work is in stone from the size of the block in the photo.
