Battle Day 2011 – Kadesh 1274BC

The eighth annual Society of Ancients Battle Day, Saturday 2 April 2011. Venue: Sycamore Hall, Drayton Road, Bletchley, Near Milton Keynes, MK2 3RR.

It’s Kadesh! Or Qadesh if you prefer.
 
And as for 1274 BC, well, feel free to insert whichever alternative date you prefer!
 
The event will take place at the usual venue, Sycamore Hall, Bletchley, near Milton Keynes
 
The date will be Saturday 2 April 2011.
 
As usual, the aim for the day is to have as many games refighting this battle as we can get, using as many different sets of rules as we can get. We also aim to have a few guest speakers discussing aspects of the battle and warfare in the period.
 
If you would like to organise and put on a game, please let me know via the Contact Page (set the topic to “Battleday” - then it gets to me automatically). Otherwise, put the date in your diary to come along and join in a great day of wargaming.
 
Probably the largest chariot battle ever!

The Battle Day is open to both members and non-members of the Society of Ancients.
