Project to read unopenable Dead Sea Scrolls

Again from explorator. I'd seen an article in one of the newspapers a long while ago, on a project (with which this individual was associated) to "read" remnant documents in Pompeii by X-raying them and then digitally "unfolding" them. Did it turn up any long lost books?
