The guide books have always noted there were more pieces originally and some were lost.  This appears to be one.  Nice to think of it in a Scottish museum but bit of a hefty price tag.

And predictably seems to have gone to a private collector - an "anonymous buyer". £735,000 is indeed a high price for what is essentially a single wargames figure!

We can but hope that the figure has been properly documented before it disappears again.

Occasionally I pick up fun stuff remarkably cheap on bring and buys  8)
